Ben Roethlisberger previously confirmed that he never considered coming out of retirement after playing 18 years for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Unlike most former players, he has not decided to let himself go.
A recent picture of him had fans buzzing with nostalgia.
This week, a picture surfaced of Roethlisberger looking leaner and meaner than he has ever been.

The Pittsburgh Steelers finally landed a big-time receiver this offseason after their blockbuster trade of DK Metcalf.
At the time of the trade, Pittsburgh had zero quarterbacks on the roster.
Following Metcalf’s acquisition, former Steelers great Ben Roethlisberger jokingly stated he would come out of retirement.
“Coach T [Mike Tomlin], are you kidding me? DK Metcalf on one side, GP [George Pickens] on the other? Muth [Pat Freiermuth] working the middle? I might need to throw my hat in the ring. If you’re looking for a guy, I might still have a couple of throws in me!” Roethlisberger said on his Instagram page while donning his old Steelers helmet.
