White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been candid on social media about the challenges of being at the helm of her demanding role while embracing motherhood.

At the tender age of 27, she broke records as the youngest person ever to occupy the press secretary’s podium.

She alongside her husband, the 59-year-old property tycoon Nicholas Riccio, welcomed their bundle of joy in July of 2024. Determined and resilient, the novice mom trimmed down her maternity interlude, bounding back to the White House just a trifling three days post-labor, spurred by witnessing President Trump’s shocking assassination bid on live TV.

She’s since been storming through her duties, articulating with conviction that “Being a mom helps me to be better at my job.”

The young mother shares her hectic schedule on social media

The GOP’s fresh face shared an adorable photo of her baby perched in a highchair on Instagram, chalking up her diverse routine succinctly as: “Work at white house, baby bedtime routine, and then @seanhannity at 9pm,” showcasing the tightrope walk known all too well by working mammas.

Engaging followers even further, this December she tackled a probing query on Instagram about fretting over job pressures and missing pivotal moments with her tot.

Her response cut deep: “I literally pray about this everyday. It’s very difficult but it’s also all I know. I went back to work just days after giving birth. I have learned to multi-task and prioritize my time.”, reports the Mirror US, laying bare her internal struggle yet astute juggling act.

And reflecting on her vocational woes versus maternal joys, she mused, “It gives me a great perspective on life and allows me to remember that not every bad day is the end of the world because my greater purpose is being a mom.”

Discussing her decision to skip maternity leave, she once recounted: “I had just brought my newborn, my three-day-old baby home from the hospital,” as Trump was targeted on live TV. “I looked at my husband and said, ‘Looks like I’m going back to work,’” she remarked.

“I felt compelled to be present in this historic moment. The president literally put his life on the line to win this election. The least I could do is get back to work quickly.”

Karoline isn’t alone in juggling motherhood with the demanding job of Press Secretary. She followed in the footsteps of Kayleigh McEnany, who stepped into the role when her own little one was just 5 months old.
