Karoline Leavitt made history as the youngest ever White House press secretary when she took office on January 20.
The 27-year-old New Hampshire native made her first appearance in the briefing room just days after Donald Trump’s inauguration. She pledged to maintain regular communication with the news media and also extend invitations to podcasters and social media influencers to the White House.
She is married to property tycoon Nicholas Riccio, 59, and the couple welcomed their first child, Nicholas, on July 10, 2024 – three days before an assassination attempt was made on Trump in Pennsylvania. Despite planning maternity leave, Karoline returned to work just three days postpartum.
Her dedication paid off when Trump was re-elected in November 2024, and she became the youngest person and sixth consecutive working mother to be appointed White House press secretary. While her exact earnings as Trump’s press secretary remain undisclosed, it’s estimated that she earns around $180,000 for the role, similar to her predecessor, Karine Jean-Pierre. Karoline’s net worth is reportedly around $6 million.
