Football icon Paul Gascoigne was rushed to hospital after being found collapsed in his bedroom at his home in Poole. The 58-year-old ex-England and Tottenham star was admitted to intensive care but is now in a stable condition and recovering.

His close friend Steve Foster, who found him unconscious, shared that Gazza is deeply moved by the outpouring of support. “He wants to thank everyone for the love he’s received from old friends and fans. It means everything to him.”

One of those quietly keeping vigil is his daughter, Bianca Gascoigne. Although not physically at his side, the 38-year-old former Love Island and Celebrity Big Brother star is said to be closely monitoring updates on her father’s condition.

Bianca, who was adopted by Paul after he married her mother Sheryl, has long shared a complicated but deeply emotional bond with the ex-footballer. Along with her brother Mason and half-brother Regan, Bianca has spoken candidly over the years about her fears surrounding her father’s health.

Back in 2017, as she prepared to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house, Bianca told friends that her biggest fear was receiving a devastating call about her dad. “We’ve become close over this last year,” she said at the time. “My absolute worst fear is getting that call in the house that the worst has happened.”

Her fears have occasionally hit too close to home. In 2014, when Paul was hospitalised after being found drunk outside his home, Bianca publicly thanked fans for their support.

Despite their ups and downs, moments of connection have shone through. In 2021, Bianca posted a rare and joyful family photo of her with Paul and Regan, captioning it: “Moments like these I will cherish forever. All the family back together.”

In another playful post, she added a Yoda filter to a video of Paul singing and dancing, joking: “Yoda, he is,” highlighting their light-hearted relationship amid darker times.

No additional details have been released about his current health scare, which comes just two months after he shared he was “feeling better than I have in years.” Promoting his upcoming memoir Eight—named after his iconic England shirt number—Paul said: “I hope I am finally at a place where I can look back at my life with more positivity. It’s time people got to know the real me.”
