TV presenter Rylan Clark has joked that he and close friend Rob Rinder might as well “put a ring on it”, after their on-screen and off-screen chemistry continues to spark relationship rumours.

During an episode of his BBC podcast How To Be In Love, Rylan chatted with Reverend Richard Coles about his journey through heartbreak and healing after splitting from ex-husband Dan Neal. But it was Coles’ cheeky comment that really stirred things up: “You’ve got Rob Rinder all over you like a rash!”

Rylan burst into laughter and quipped: “We’re like a married couple – we argue all the time and don’t have sex. Might as well just get married!”

Though the remark was made in jest, it didn’t stop fans from jumping to conclusions. Especially after the two recently appeared inseparable during their BBC travel series Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour, showing deep emotional moments and constant banter.

Rylan, 35, later clarified their relationship is strictly platonic, but admitted that dating in the public eye remains difficult. “People don’t know if they’re dating Rylan the  TV personality or Ross – the real me,” he told Stephen Fry in a separate episode.

Despite the ongoing speculation, Rylan insists he’s still searching for love – and healing. “I thought I’d found the love of my life. I hadn’t. Now I’m just trying to figure out what comes next.
