In February 2024, rumors of Tarlov getting fired from Fox’s The Five began spreading. It all started when a user posted about it on X. The user claimed that Tarlov had been fired from the political talk show and wouldn’t be appearing. The post featuring Tarlov and co-host Jesse Watters mentioned, “Jessica Tarlov has been released by FOX. She apparently was too successful at making her left leaning points, and showing up Jesse Walters,”
In no time, the post went viral, leading to fans speculating about Tarlov’s departure from The Five. However, Irena Briganti, the senior executive vice president of corporate communications for Fox News Media, stepped ahead to clear the air. He connected with Snopes via email, calling Tarlov’s termination news “completely false.”
Additionally, viewers grew concerned about Tarlov as she was reportedly absent from The Five. Further, she appeared on HBO’s series Real Time with Bill Maher. However, the absence was temporary as Tarlov had announced her second pregnancy in January of the same year. She delivered her second baby, Teddy Tarlov McKenna, in April 2024, and this was not the first time the host took a break for personal commitments. In 2021, she left the Five after expecting her first child, whom she delivered in December.
