The pair had been preparing to release their highly anticipated book “A Lifetime of Laughter and Our Unbreakable Bond” next month — a celebration of their special relationship and the moments that endeared them to millions
However, on June 9, Jess shared heartbreaking news on their joint social media accounts: Norma passed away peacefully on June 5, surrounded by her loved ones.
“June 5, 2025 — the day our world changed forever,” the family’s tribute began. “We lost our rock, our everything, our beautiful, precious, perfect lady.
“She drifted off peacefully, full of love, surrounded by family and given the most beautiful care. Social media and this incredible online community made her final years so full of joy. In her words, she ‘lived such a wonderful life.’”
Despite the 91 incredible years, Jess shared that it still didn’t feel like enough time. “She leaves behind a hole that nothing will ever fill. She’s now reunited with her husband and loved ones. Until we meet again, our queen.”
Tributes flooded in from fans and celebrities. Comedian Dawn French wrote, “Oh. I will miss her so much. I can’t begin to imagine how much you will. All love.”
Dawn Ward from The Real Housewives of Cheshire added: “She was amazing. You’ll carry her memory with you always — and so will all of us who adored her.”
Norma’s legacy lives on not only in her family but in the laughter and warmth she brought to millions.
