TV and radio star Adele Roberts has sparked concern among fans after revealing a new health scare — just three years after being given the all-clear following her bowel cancer battle.

The 46-year-old presenter shared a snap from the cardiology department waiting room with partner Kate Holderness, explaining she was undergoing blood tests due to dangerously low iron levels. “Without my medication I have no energy. I’m not running at the moment and I’m so tired all the time,” she admitted on Instagram.

Doctors believe the issue could stem from either the damage caused by chemotherapy or her stoma bag, which she still lives with after her cancer treatment. “Hopefully I’ll get some more medicine once my GP has seen today’s results,” she wrote. “Otherwise I’m going to be consistently falling asleep until I die.”

Adele also uploaded a photo showing plasters on her arms after having blood drawn, and reflected on how her anemia was initially discovered — not by her GP, but by a doctor on Dancing On Ice who noticed her habit of crunching ice.

This latest update comes months after she opened up about the brutal toll chemotherapy had taken on her body. From losing her fingerprints and damaging the soles of her feet, to her tongue turning black, Adele described the treatment as “a mess,” but said it gave her strength knowing it was attacking the cancer.

Diagnosed in 2021, Adele fought through colostomy surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, eventually being declared cancer-free in mid-2022. But the lasting effects are still present — both physically and emotionally.

At one point, Adele revealed she felt “punished” and “accountable” for her illness, until a doctor reassured her: “It’s not your fault.” That moment, she said, left her in tears.

Now, with her energy levels plummeting, fans are once again rallying around the star — hopeful that her strength, optimism, and resilience will carry her through yet another unexpected hurdle.
