Fans of “American Idol” season 23 are in for a treat as some of the show’s top finalists prepare to reunite in Nashville for a special concert the night before CMA Fest.

Runner-up John Foster and third-place finisher Breanna Nix have teamed up for an exciting video collaboration to build anticipation for the event, promising an unforgettable night of music.

‘American Idol’ Finalists to Reunite For One-Time Show
On June 4, 19 Recordings — the record label partner of “American Idol” — will host its annual 19/BMG Takeover concert at 6th & Peabody. This year’s lineup features a dozen stars from recent seasons, including season 23 winner Jamal Roberts, John Foster, Breanna Nix, and other finalists like Thunderstorm Artis, Gabby Samone, Mattie Pruitt, and Kolbi Jordan.

While most of the top finalists from 2025 will be there, fans have noticed that Slater Nalley, who placed in the top five, won’t be performing due to a separate management deal. Other “American Idol” alumni scheduled to appear include season 22’s runner-up Will Moseley and finalist Ajii, season 21’s Colin Stough and Wé Ani, plus season 20 runner-up HunterGirl. All have active deals with 19 Recordings or BMG, releasing new music.

The concert will be emceed by Josh Randall, a senior casting producer for “American Idol” and familiar face to fans as the show’s studio warmup host.
