Tim Walz offers to ‘fight’ Fox News’ Jesse Watters in a WWE match to prove manliness

Tim Walz appeared on the This Is Gavin Newsom podcast where he addressed Jesse Watters’ previous jabs, saying he wasn’t “masculine enough” because he used a straw to drink a milkshake.

It looks like Jesse Watters’ mocking of Tim Walz for drinking a milkshake in a particular way was the straw that broke the camel’s back — quite literally.

On Tuesday’s episode of Jesse Watters Primetime, the outspoken Fox News host discussed Kamala Harris’ former running mate’s appearance on This Is Gavin Newsroom podcast, in which he broke his silence comments made about him in the run-up to the 2024 election.

Back in September, also during an airing of his show, Jesse quipped, “The other day you saw him [Tim Walz] with a vanilla ice cream shake. Had a straw in it. Again, that tells you everything,” as he spoke about Democratic men’s masculinity not meeting his exacting standards.

Walz spoke about those remarks on his recent podcast appearance, and it certainly caught the attention of Watters himself.

The Fox star introduced the segment, saying, “Tim says he’s a man’s man, even if he uses a straw,” as a clip of Walz discussing his reaction to the on the show played.

Walz told host Gavin Newsom: “They just baffled me how much time they spent trying to attack me that I wasn’t, like, masculine enough in their vision.

He continued: “I would have never believed this. I saw Fox News did a couple of days because I used a straw, and I’m like, ‘what the hell, man, how else do you drink a milkshake’ type of thing?”

Walz recalled how the network “focused on it obsessively” before bashing “their obsession, their weirdness.”

Then the Governor of Minnesota, 60, insisted: “I think I could kick most of their ass,” as Newsom burst into laughter, prompting Walz to reiterate: “I do think that!”

He went on: “I don’t know if we’re gonna fall into that place where we want to say, ‘okay, we challenge you to do a, you know, a WWE. Fight.’

Seemingly amused by Walz’s proposition, Watters also shared a video of the moment on X.

“@Tim_Walz wants to fight me because I said men shouldn’t drink with a straw,” he captioned the video.
